Programs
AICLIN Appointment Confirmations. Medical clinics using AICLIN EMR send patients text messages to confirm upcoming appointments. Each message identifies the clinic and includes a secure link the patient can tap to confirm the appointment.
AICLIN Patient Forms. Medical clinics using AICLIN EMR send patients a text message with a secure link to forms the clinic asks them to fill out and sign (for example, registration or medical history forms). Each message identifies the clinic and says how long the link works. The patient must confirm their date of birth before any form opens. Messages never contain health information.
AICLIN Consult Alerts. Clinicians and consultants who use AICLIN EMR can choose to receive a text message when another clinician sends them a consult and grants them time-limited access to the patient's documents. The message names the sending clinician, states until when access is available, and asks the recipient to sign in to AICLIN. It never contains patient names or health information.
How you opt in
Patients: you receive appointment and form messages only after you give your mobile phone number to your clinic on your registration form and choose “Yes, text me about my appointments and forms.” Patients who agreed under earlier wording that named appointments only receive appointment messages, not form links. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care.
Clinicians and consultants: you receive consult alerts only after you sign in to AICLIN, enter your mobile number under Account security → Text alerts, and check the box agreeing to receive consult alert text messages. You can turn alerts off there at any time.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Patients typically receive one message per scheduled appointment and one message each time their clinic sends them forms. Consult alert recipients receive one message per consult sent to them.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You can also ask your clinic to stop sending you text messages.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or email contact@aiclin.health. For questions about your appointment, contact your clinic directly.
